Youth Ministry-Called with a Purpose

Proverbs 22:6

 

The Youth Ministry exists with the purpose of giving children a good solid foundation of the word of God and to be able to express themselves through the outlets of Dance, Singing, Drama Etc. The youth participate in many activities including Youth outings and Pajama Jams.  Some of our groups include the AOD Dancers our young womens' dance group, God's Dancer, our young mens' dance group and our youth choir.  It is our strong belief that by instilling in them the Word of God now that we are developing future leaders that will take the ministry to the next level.

The Singles Ministry is designed for singles to interact with each other and encourage one another.  Being Single is not easy, but there is strength in knowing that you are not alone.  There is comfort in knowing that there is someone else that understands what you are dealing with and can encourage me.  And you being able to encourage someone else.  The singles ministry meets once a month and stay in contact with each other on a weekly basis.  We have seminars that are geared to minister to singles by singles.  The singles ministry also ejoy's going to movies, plays and going to dinner.

" I was hungry and you fed me, thirsty and you gave me a drink; I was a stranger and you received me in your homes, 36 naked and you clothed me; I was sick and you took care of me, in prison and you visited me."

 

We believe that part of Kingdom work and Kingdom building is to meet needs.  Every Saturday from 1-2 P.M.  we have our Food Pantry and Clothing give away.  The impact was been tremendous in the community and the needs of the people in the local community have been met.
